Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger

Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter, sugar, molasses and egg. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix well. Roll into small balls, dip into sugar. Place 2 " apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375* 15 minutes.
