Step 1

Brown ground round until well done. Drain well.

Peel and dice potatoes and boil just until just slightly soft.

Boil frozen baby limas and frozen whole kernel corn along with fresh peeled and cut- up carrots until slightly soft.

Saute in butter: onions, celery and bell pepper.

Put in large Dutch oven or deep heavy pan:

• Browned meat
• Cooked potatoes
• Sauteed onions, celery and bell pepper
• Canned Veg-All
• Cooked whole kernel corn, baby limas and carrots
• Frozen, sliced okra (small amount—too much will cause it to be “slimy”)
• Hunts Tomato Sauce (large can)
• Hunts Tomato paste
• V-8 vegetable juice

Can add lemon pepper, salt and pepper, onion powder.
Cavenders’ All Purpose Greek Seasoning (I get salt free) is good for seasoning soups. YUM!
