Three Bean Salad

Makes 10 servings.
You can also add:
1/4 C. Green Pepper (finely chopped)
1/4 C. Celery (finely chopped)
Also Garbanzo Beans can be used in addition to or to replace one of the other beans.

Ingredients

  • 1-14.5 oz. can of Cut Green Beans (drained)
  • 1-14.5 oz. can of Yellow Beans (drained)
  • 1-15.5 oz. Can of Kidney Beans (drained and washed)
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 C. Vinegar
  • 1/2 C. Sugar or 12 Equals
  • 1/2 C. Salad Oil
  • 1 t. Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all three beans, and Onion. Combine remaining ingredients and stir until Sugar dissolves. Pour over Beans mixture. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. This is much better after marinating 24 hours.
