  • 4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • approximately 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • lard

Step 1

Put the flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. Add egg and enough water to make a fairly stiff dough. Work dough until smooth Divide dough into balls, let rest 10 minutes. Roll each ball like pie crust. let rest 10 minutes. Spread lard on each piece, let rest 10 minutes. Pick up dough and stretch over hand. When center is paper thin, roll up like jelly roll and cut into 1 1/2" pieces.

Cook 30 minutes over stewed meat juices. Use stew meat or chicken.
