Ingredients
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half and half
- 1/2 pkg (approx 4 oz) of cream cheese
- 3-4 tablespoons curry paste
- 1 chicken breast per person, cut into strips
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, diced
- desired veggies (bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini)
- 2 cups of uncooked rice, or you can substitute the rice with penne pasta if desired
Preparation
Step 1
1. Slice chicken into strips, and fry on stove top until almost cooked.
2. Add maple syrup, and fry until chicken is completely cooked. Set aside on another burner on low heat.
3. Saute onions and mushrooms.
4. Add cream cheese. When cream cheese melts somewhat, add everything else.
5. Add the chicken and maple syrup to the other ingredients. Cook on medium heat until ready.
6. Serve over hot rice or pasta.
