Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 10 atomic fireballs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick margarine -- softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- CINNAMON CANDY BUTTERCREAM
- 2 sticks margarine -- softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons imitation cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, combine water and fireballs. Let soak for at least half hour. Water will turn bright red. Remove fireballs and discard.
Preheat oven to 350.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add half the flour mixture, followed by the fireball mixture. Stir in remaining flour mixture.
Fill baking cups 2/3 of the way full. Bake 20-22 minutes.
Frosting: Cream margarine and sugar. Add imitation cinnamon. Tint with red food coloring.
