  • 3 large potatoes
  • 1/3 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. fresh grated Parm. cheese
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 4 tbs melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.
Cut potatoes into paper-thin slices
Butter a 9-inch pie pan
Arrange potatoes in overlapping slices, forming concentric circles covering bottom of pan
Drizzle 1 TBS of cream over the pototoes
Sprinkle 3 TBS Parm. cheese over the potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper
Repeat this layering til full
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top
Bake uncovered for 40-45 min until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Remove from oven and let stand for 5-10 minutes
