Candied Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 TBS corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanila
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix corn syrup, sugar, water and salt in pan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves, boil until thermometer reads soft ball stage, about 238 degrees.

Remove form heat, stir in vanilla, cinnamon and walnuts.

Turn out on waxed paper and pull apart while cooling.
