Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion (diced)
  • 1/2 tbs minced garlic
  • 4 tbs all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 6oz can sliced mushrooms (drained)
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet, cook beef until it is no longer pink; drain. Add onions and garlic and cook for 5 minutes.

Mix flour and water in small saucepan. Add beef bouillon cube and cook until dissolved. Stir into the beef mixture. Add mustard, mushrooms, sour cream, and wine.

Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
