Ham-n-Cheese Ring 1 Picture


  • 1 lb loaf white frozen bread dough
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Jack or Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups chopped cooked ham
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Step 1

Let dough thaw to room temperature or until pliable. On lightly floured board roll dough out to 10x14-inch rectangle. Sprinkle ham and cheese on dough. Beginning with 14-inch side, roll dough tightly in jelly-roll fashion. Seal loose ends. Place dough on lightly greased cookie sheet; form a ring; seal ends together With kitchen shears make slashes 1-inch apart, 3/4 of the way through roll, exposing ham and cheese filling. Brush with melted butter. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size*. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

*Heat oven on 250 degree setting for two minutes. Turn oven off and place ring inside until double in size.
