Banana Bread (Food Processor)

Ingredients

  • 2 very ripe medium bananas peeled cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup butter child and cut in 6 pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsps lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degreesF. Position knife blade in bowl. Add bananas and butter. Process until finely chopped, about 20 seconds.

Add remaining ingredients and process 10 seconds.

Scrape down sides of bowl and add nuts if desired. Process 2-3 seconds longer.

Do not overprocess. Turn into greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake until bread springs back when touched at center about 55-60 minutes. Cool before removing from pan.
