Mom's Bread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb pork sausage w/ sage
  • 6 ribs celery (chopped)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 8 slices of white bread

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet, cook beef and sausage until beef is no longer pink; drain. Add salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning, celery, and onion. Add 1/2 cup water. Cook until celery and onion are soft. Add water as needed.

When vegetables are cooked, cut the bread into small pieces. Add to beef mixture and blend well.
