Martha Washington Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 Can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
  • 2 1lb boxes powdered sugar
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla
  • 2 Cups chopped Pecans
  • 2 Cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 Bar of paraffin Wax

Preparation

Step 1

Combine milk, sugar, vanilla, butter and chopped nuts. Mix together very well. Make into small round balls and let them stand overnight in a cool place.
Melt chocolate and paraffin wax in a double broiler.
Dip balls into the chocolate mixture with a toothpick. Twist the toothpick to loosen and them on parchment paper, then immediately into the refrigerator.
Do a small batch at a time and keep in refrigerator as this makes a large amount of candy. To make smaller portion cut recipe in half.
