Chocolate Pie Recipe from Norma Hudgins Burchett

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/3 Cup Cocoa
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Whipped Cream

Preparation

Step 1

Blend dry ingredients and gradually add milk.
Cook stirring constantly over medium to low heat.
Bring to biol for a full 3 minutes. Add 1 Teaspoon vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Pour into pie shell.
Cool and topo with whipped cream.
