Sponge pudding with sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 oz marg
  • 4 oz sugar (caster)
  • 4 oz SR flour
  • 2 size 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 1ltr (2 pint) pyrex pudding basin.

Cream marg and sugar tog. Beat in eggs.

Fold in flour and baking powder. Stir in milk.

Place sponge mix into prep dish.

Cook for 3-4 mins on high.

Heat Jam or syrup in a glass bowl, heat for 45 seconds. Turn out and pour over extra sauce.
