Ingredients

  • 14 – 16 slices bottled jalapeno nacho slices
  • 1 TBSP brine, from bottled jalapeno slices
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 (15 oz) can refried beans

Preparation

Step 1

Place jalapenos, brine and spices in small blender. (Should be about 3 TBSP) Blend well. Put beans and spices in a bowl and combine. Cover an chill for at least an hour before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro.

If desired, place in a shallow dish and sprinkle with grated cheese and heat.

*Substitute 1 or 2 TBSP chipotle sauce, depending on thickness of sauce, or use 1 tsp Habanera.
