Spiced Applesauce Bread

Ingredients

• Topping:
• 1 1/4 c. applesauce
• 1/2 c. cooking oil
• 3 Tbsp. milk
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 c. flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/4 tsp. allspice
• 1/2 c. chopped nuts
• 1/4 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix bread ingredients and spread in well-greased 9x5x3 in, loaf pan. Mix topping ingredients. Sprinkle over dough and bake 350 deg. 1 hour or until done.
