Ingredients

  • 1

    large onion, diced

  • Olive oil (enough to cover bottom of large pot)

  • 2-3

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 1

    carton chicken broth

  • 1

    can Progresso lentil soup

  • 1

    28oz. can Diced tomatoes w/ basil, garlic, & oregano

  • 2

    15.5oz. cans Goya dark kidney beans

  • 2

    each red, orange, yellow, & green peppers,

  • cut into large chucks

  • 2

    pkg. Kielbasa, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2

    jalepenos, diced (remove seeds for less heat)

  • Few drops hot sauce, to taste

  • Basil, to taste

  • 1/2

    tsp. red pepper flakes

  • 1/2

    tsp. chili powder

  • 1/2

    tsp. oregano

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Cover bottom of pot with oil. Brown onions and garlic, then add remain ingredients except pepper chunks. Let cook about an hour, then add pepper chunks, and cook for a remaining half hour.
