Ingredients

  • 7 oz vanilla wafers or graham crackers, crushed
  • 5 T melted butter
  • 1 3oz package of jello
  • 1-1/2 c water --heat to boiling
  • 13 oz can evaporated milk--CHILLED
  • 1 c sugar

Preparation

Step 1

melt butter in a 9x13 pan and sprinkle with the cookie crumbs. Save a small amount of crumbs for garnish.

Dissolve jello in to boiling water and chill until soft set.

When jello is soft set, whip the evaporated milk until frothy, add sugar. Pour in soft set jello and mix well.

Pour mixture in to prepared crust--dust the top with remaining crumbs and refrigerate until set
