Great variation to traditional manicotti

Ingredients

  • 1 T garlic powder
  • 1-1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken
  • breast
  • 16 manicotti shells uncooked
  • 2 26 oz jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb italian sausage--cooked/drained
  • 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 4 c shredded mozarella
  • 2/3 c water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375

Rub garlic over chicken and cut in to 1" strips

Stuff chicken in to shells. Spread 1 c sauce in each of 2 greased 9x13 pans. place 8 stuffed shells in each pan.

Sprinkle shells with sausage and mushrooms.

Pour remaining sauce over each pan and sprinkle with cheese.

Drizzle water around edge of each dish.

Cover and bake at 375 F 65-75 minutes

**you can cover and freeze up to 1 month prior to cooking
