Ingredients
- 2 loafs of Challah (bread) - not sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 16 oz. cream cheese
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 dozen eggs
- cinnamon sugar
- extra syrup on side
Preparation
Step 1
Cut challah into 1 inch cubes.
Coat the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan with a non-stick spray like Pam.
Cover bottom of pan with the cubes of challah.
Sprinkle cream cheese cubes on top of the challah.
Layer the remaining bread on top of the layer of cream cheese.
Blend eggs, milk, syrup, and pour mixture over the bread.
Cover pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night.
Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the top.
Bake @ 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Serve with maple syrup on the side.
