      pound bacon

      pounds broccoli florets cut bite-sized

      celery stalks chopped

    • 1

      cup raisins

    • 1

      cup mayonnaise or mayonnaise salad dressing

    • 2

      tablespoons vinegar

    • ¼

      cup sugar

    • ¼

      cup half-and-half


    Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp, 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then crumble. Combine broccoli, celery, bacon and raisins in a large bowl. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and half-and-half in small bowl. Add to broccoli mixture. Toss to coat. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings. Each of 8 servings: 481 calories; 569 mg sodium; 39 mg cholesterol; 36 grams fat; 37 grams carbohydrates; 8 grams protein; 1.64 grams fiber.
