Fruit Filled Sponge Cake

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pouch vanillin
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 can pie filling (apple, peach,blueberry etc.)
  • cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Butter and flour an aluminum cookie sheet (No Frills).


In a bowl, combine eggs, oil, water, sugar and vanillin. Beat until smooth and well combined. Add flour and baking powder beating until smooth.

Pour batter on the cookie wheet. With a teaspoon put dollops of pie filling all over the batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
