Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 3 Very Ripe Pears, Cored, peeled and cut into chunks.
  • 1 C. Whole Cranberries
  • 1/4 C. Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbl. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 C. Oatmeal
  • 1/4 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbl. Flour
  • 1 Tbl. Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Heat Oven to 400. In a medium bowl, cobine the pears, cranberries, maple syrup and lemon juice. Toss and set aside.

In another bowl, combine oatmeal, sugar and flour. Cut in the butter until crumbly and the dough barely holds together.

Spoon the cranberry mixture into a
9x12 oval gratin dish and spoon dry mixture on top. Bake until topping is brown and crisp, about 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake for another 20-25 minutes until fruit is bubbling.

Serve with Vanilla yogurt.
