Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 Cup Shortening
  • 1 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs-beaten
  • 2 teas. Vanilla
  • 4 Cups SIFTED Flour
  • 3 1/2 teas. Baking Powder
  • 1 teas. Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening&sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
IMPORTANT: Sift flour.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a separate bowl. Slowly add to shortening mixture.
Blend together and chill for about 1–2 hours before rolling out.

Bake cookies at 400 for 8–10 minutes.
