Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can oven-ready biscuits
- 5 slices American cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Combine meat, onion, salt and pepper - cook over low heat or until lightly brown. For each turnover place 2 biscuits, slightly overlapping on well-floured surface. Roll out until you have about 5 in. oval. Place about 3 Tbsp. meat mixture on 1 biscuit and top with 2 half slices of cheese. Moisten the edges with water and fold second biscuit over the meat mixture - seal with fork. Bake 425 deg. oven 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve as a hot sandwich.
