Ingredients
- 2 yellow onions, 1sliced, 1 chopped
- 3-4 lb. pork butt
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 teas. garlic powder to taste
- 1 Tbls. whole cloves
- 1 cup ginger ale
- 1 bottle favorite barbecue sauce
- 1 Tbls. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Place sliced onion o bottom of crockpot. Season pork with salt & pepper, place on top of onions. Place the rest of sliced onions on top of pork. Add ginger ale, spices and cook on high for 5-6 hrs turning half way through cooking time. Don't open cover too often while cooking.
Once pork is cooked remove and empty liquid and shred the pork with a fork. Place diced up onion in slow cooker along with barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce and shredded pork. Cook on low for another 1-2 hrs.
