Ingredients

  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 Tbp dark molasses
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 jar minced meat
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 Tbp brandy

Preparation

Step 1

Set up a large pot with water to steam the pudding, bring to a boil.

Mix all the ingredients well and pat firmly into a glass bowl. Put this bowl into the large pot and turn down the heat to low (just want it to keep hot not boil). Steam the pudding for 3 hours. Remove from the steam and let cool slightly. Turn the pudding out and serve with hard sauce or whip cream.
