Ingredients

  • 1 cup garbanzos
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 small jalapeno
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro or to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon tahini or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water or stock, any kind
  • 1/8 cup olive oil
  • 1/8 cup lime juice
  • garnish: chopped cilantro and chopped tomatoes, serve with crackers

Preparation

Step 1

Blend all ingredients in food processor or blender until smooth. Add more olive oil if needed. Taste and correct seasoning if necessary.

Note: Even though this has avocado, it keeps wonderfully.
