Ingredients

  • 6

    eggs

  • 3

    sticks of butter

  • 3

    cups sugar

  • 3

    cups flour(sifted)

  • 1

    teasp. baking powder

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 1

    tablespoon vanilla

  • *Optional: 1 cup fresh blueberries

Directions

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter until smooth and shiny. Gradually add sugar, blend well, add vanilla. Add eggs on at a time until each is well blended. Alternate flour and milk Option: Gently,stir in blueberries by hand Butter tube pan. Add batter. Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees. *Do Not Open Oven Door* After 1 hour, bake for 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool in pan for 20 m. before removing.
