Faux Fish Sticks-April Fools' Day

These look just like the real deal! The fish sticks are made of sugar wafer cookies and corn flakes, the peas are little balls of green taffy and the ketchup is made with seedless strawberry jam. Perfect for April Fool's day!

Ingredients

• 2 handfuls corn flakes
• 2 sugar wafer cookies
• Peanut butter
• Green taffy candy (such as green apple Air Heads)
• 3 teaspoons seedless strawberry jam

Preparation

Step 1

For the "Fish sticks":
Put the corn flakes in a Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Cover the sugar wafer cookies with the peanut butter, and then put them in the corn flakes crumbs to coat.

For the "peas":
Tear off and roll small pieces of the taffy.

For the "ketchup":
Use a fork to stir the jam until smooth. Notes Tip: If the taffy is too hard to work with, microwave it for about 6 seconds.
