Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Ground Pork Sausage
  • 4 Large Eggs, beaten
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 tsp. Mustard Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 6 Slices Italian or Sourdough Bread, cubed
  • 8 oz. Mild Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Step 1

Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat, stirring and breaking up clumps, until evenly browned; drain. Mix together eggs, milk, mustard powder and salt in a bowl. Add sausage, bread cubes, and cheese, stirring to coat evenly. Pour into prepared baking dish, cover with foil and chill overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Uncover, reduce to 325 degrees and bake until set, about 15 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
