Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 cups Kayro syrup- 1 small bottle
- 3/4 cup butter- 12 Tbsp.
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
Mix everything but vanilla in heavy pan and bring to boil. When it starts to boil add whipping cream/half and half. Bring to boil again and add vanilla. Cook to a soft boil stage of 240*. Pour into buttered 11x7 pan. Let cool in pan. When cool cut into bite size pieces and wrap in wax paper.
If caramels are too soft recook longer. If too hard recook and add more cream.
