Chocolate Brownie Pie

  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 2 Tablespoons margarine
  • 2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup broken pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. In a 1-qt saucepan, melt margarine and chocolate over low heat. Pour into medium sized bowl of mixer. Cool slightly. Add eggs, sugar and corn syrup. Beat at medium speed until well-blended. Stir in vanilla and pecans and pour mixture into pie shell. Bake for 35 to 40 min. Cool, then refrigerate before serving.
