Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter or Margerine
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 can Solo Poppy Seed Filing
  • 4 eggs separated
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 1/2 cups AP Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Salt

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease anf flour 10 inch bundt pan.
Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add poppy seed filing and beat until blended. Beat in egg yolks one at a time.Add sour cream and vanilla and beat until just blended. Stir flour and baking soda and salt until mixed and add to poppy seed mixture gradually beating well after each addition.
Beat whites in a separate bowl with mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold beaten egg whites into batter. Spread evenly in pan. Bake 60 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes> Cool in pan 10 minutes on wire rack. Remove from pan.
