Ingredients
- 4 Tbls butter
- 1 cup flour
- 4 boneless, skinless breasts of chicken
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 very thin slices of smoked ham
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 6 ounces Lorraine swiss cheese, cut into 4 chunks
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 370.
2.Melt butter in glass baking dish.
3.Lightly flatten chicken breasts between plastic wrap with mallet.
4.Lay 1 slice ham and 1 piece of cheese on flattened breast, fold in half and seal close with toothpicks.
5. Repeat process for remaining chicken breasts.
6. Coat each pice with flour, then eggs and then bread crumbs.
7. Place chicken pieces i glass baking dish.
8.Turn to coat with butter.
9.Bake for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.
