This is a staple at our house, and also a huge hit at church when we have breakfasts. Can be tripled or whatever!! Very versatile!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pick your spicy-ness level!)
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage. DO NOT DRAIN FAT!! Add flour, salt and pepper until all meat is coated and most of the fat is soaked up. Add milk all at once. Cook at medium heat until desired thickness.

Serve over biscuits or toast.
