Pizza Crust/Twisted Breadsticks - Krystal

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix:
1 ½ c. warm water
2 T. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. Yeast

Pizza Dough:
Add ½ tsp. salt and about 3 cups flour. Mix with dough hooks or knead.
Gradually add more flour until the dough is soft and not too sticky.
Knead or mix for 10 minutes. Let the dough rest/rise for 10-15
minutes. Divide in half, and roll or pat out pizza crusts. Bake at 400
for 9 minutes before topping with sauce and desired toppings. Bake for
another 15-20 minutes (depending on pan) until the cheese around the
edges has started to brown and crisp.

Breadsticks:
Add ½ tsp. salt and about 3 cups flour. Mix with dough hooks or knead.
Gradually add more flour until the dough is soft and not too sticky.
Knead or mix for 10 minutes. Let the dough rest/rise for 10-15
minutes. Roll out to the size of the bread mat (17 x 20) and cut into 1" strips. Fold in half and roll strip in 1/2 cube melted butter in the bottom of a cookie sheet and top
with parmesan cheese, garlic salt and parsley. You can also substitute Italian seasoning for the parsley and parmesan cheese.

Let rise in pan till double then Bake at 400 for 15-20
minutes.
