bourbon pecan tassies

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-2 teaspoons Bourbon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (or pecan pieces)
  • 2 packages phyllo tart shells (15 per package)

Preparation

Step 1

1.Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2.Line a mini muffin tin with the phyllo shells.
3.Mix sugar, butter, eggs, corn syrup, vanilla, Bourbon together in a bowl.
4.Add chopped pecans.
5.Using a spoon, fill each phyllo shell to the top.
6.Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
7.Serve warm or at room temp.
8.You can also serve with a small dollop or whipped cream.
