Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 container chocolate or vanilla frosting
  • Additional mini chocolate chips for topping

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, & eggs. Beat on low for 30 seconds, then medium for 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips. Line a muffin tin with liners. Fill to about 2/3 full. Bake at 375 for about 18 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes then transfer cupcakes to a wire rack to cool completely. Frost cupcakes. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips.
