SPOON ROLLS

Dough will keep in refrigerator for several days allowing you to bake fresh rolls each day as needed.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 4 c. self rising flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. shortening, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in water. Mix together in large bowl with all other ingredients. Store covered in refrigerator and use as desired. This batter will keep for several days. No need to let it rise.
To Cook: Spoon batter into well greased muffin tins and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes
