Sausage Stuffed Shells

- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) Jumbo Shells, uncooked
- 2 lb. Hot Italian Sausage
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 3 cups (about 28-oz. jar) spaghetti sauce

Step 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is thoroughly cooked and onion is tender; drain. In large bowl, stir together meat mixture, mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs, and bread crumbs. In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, spread 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce. Fill each cooked shell with 1-1/2 level tablespoons meat filling; layer one-half filled shells in prepared dish. Spread 1-1/4 cups spaghetti sauce evenly over shells; layer remaining filled shells over sauce. Spread remaining spaghetti sauce over shells; sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil; bake 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly (doubling recipe or more may require increased baking time). 8 to 10 servings.
