Instant Pot Creamy French Onion Ground Beef and Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • to salt to taste
  • 1 can beef broth (14 ounces)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can of French onion soup
  • 1 12 ounce package wide egg noodles
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk

Preparation

Step 1

Set the Instant Pot to sauté. Add ground beef and garlic salt to taste. Cook until browned, about 7 to 10 minutes. Pour in beef broth, water, French onion soup, noodles and salt. Give it a stir and make sure noodles are mostly covered. Put on lid and lock with vent closed. Set for manual high pressure for 5 minutes. Once done open valve for a quick release. Stir in sour cream and heavy cream. Leave on warm setting a few minutes and it will thicken up a bit.
