Sliced Onions and Potatoes in Foil

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced onions (2 large)
  • 4 large potatoes, pared and cut in 1/4 inch thick slices
  • 1 tbsp. celery salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine onions, potatoes, celery salt, pepper and melted butter in large bowl. Toss well. Divide mixture in 6 portions. Wrap each portion in a square of heavy-duty foil. Bury packages in hot coals. Cook 30-40 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Makes 6 servings.
