Ingredients
- 1 tube Pillsbury Sugar Cookies
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 can Betty Crocker Rich and Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- 18 large marshmallows
- 5 tubes icing writers (red, blue, yellow, black, green)
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, knead together the sugar cookie dough and flour. Break into 18 pieces, making each with about 1-1/2 tablespoons of dough. Roll into balls and place on two parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 10 minutes (or a bit longer, depending on your oven), until golden brown. Remove and cool completely before frosting.
2. Frost cookies with vanilla frosting. Wet knife slightly to create a nice, smooth spread on each cookie.
3. Gently press each large marshmallow, elongating the bottom half slightly to appear melted. Press marshmallows into frosting.
4. Squeeze about a 1/2 teaspoon of yellow and 1/4 teaspoon of red icing frosting into a plastic ziptop sandwich bag. Squish together until about 3/4 tablespoon of orange frosting has been mixed together. Snip a tiny corner from the bag.
5. Pipe black frosting onto each marshmallow for eyes and a smile. Use the orange icing to pipe a tiny carrot nose onto the marshmallows.
6. Pipe a red, blue, green or yellow scarf around the neck and melted belly of your snowman cookie. Allow frosting to set before serving.
