Chocolate Coffee Cream Roll

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar, gradually and beat until thick
  • Sift 1 cup sifted cake flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 cup brewed, cold coffee

  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 sifted icing sugar
  • 2 tsp. instant coffee

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 F
Grease, paper, and grease a jelly roll pan.

Beat 3 eggs until thick and creamy, then add dry ingredients.
Add vanilla and coffee.
Fold in dry ingredients.

Bake for 12 minutes. Remove from pan and carefully remove paper. Roll up in a tea towel and allow to cool. When cooled, carefully unroll, fill and reroll.
