Ingredients

  • 1

    lb grated cheese (cheddar or jack)

  • 1

    cup cream

  • 3

    tbls. Flour

  • 1/2

    tsp. salt

  • 3

    eggs

  • 2

    4-oz cans Ortega Chilies

  • Note: Double Ingredients for larger casserole. I sometimes get a larger can of chilies.

Directions

Blend cream, flour, eggs and salt in mixing bowl. Blend at high or medium high. In a casserole dish place a layer of cheese, a layer of chilies, and cover with small amount of cream/egg mix. Repeat process until all ingredients are used. Cover lightly with tomato sauce if desired. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for between 45 minutes and one hour or until firm. If you double the recipe it will take a little longer to cook.
