Creamed Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 3/4 sick oleo
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4-5 slices American Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook cabbage until tender, drain. Melt oleo in pan and add flour. Stir together. Cook a few minutes. Add 2 cups milk and boil until thickened adding more milk if needed. Melt 4-5 slices American cheese stirring constantly. Add cooked cabbage to sauce.
