Simple Succotash with Ham

Ingredients
- 1 16-ounce package frozen baby lima beans, thawed
- 1 16-ounce package frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
- 2 cups diced cooked ham (about 12 ounces)
- 1 cup coarsely chopped red or green sweet pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 14-ounce can chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
In a 3 1/2 to 4-quart slow cooker combine lima beans, corn, ham, sweet pepper, onion, celery, garlic, and black pepper. Pour broth over all.
Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 9 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. Serve with a slotted spoon.
