Shallot Sauce

This is a great sauce for steaks.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons cracked black pepper
  • 1 full shallot chopped
  • 1 packet chicken bullion
  • 1 packet beef bullion
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Preparation

Step 1

Use 2 pots

1st pot
1/2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons cracked black pepper
1 full shallot

Place all ingredients in pot on medium high heat until reduced by half.

2nd pot
3 cus water
1 packed chicken broth
2 packets beef broth
Bring close to boil then pour bullion mixture into 1st pot (shallot pot)
Simmer until reduced by half. Add heavy cream and simmer 10 more minutes.
Serve
